Top Connection properties BatchFTP also accepts retry settings and optionally user can choose to save password in the batch file. You can choose between plain text, encrypted text. Or you can rather choose so that BatchFTP don't save the password but ask for it every time it connects to a FTP server.
 Top Connection properties History support All previously typed FTP servers are available in the history. So that next time when you type the same FTP server you get auto-fills.
 Top File transfer properties Besides other important properties you can see there are five options to choose from if a file with the same name is already present at destination. You can select to 1) Never overwrite 2) Decide based on date time 3) Decide based on size 4) Or simply prompt and let user decide what they want to do.
 Top File Filters You can give set of file filters to apply across all items in batch. BatchFTP will decide at run time whether to transfer a particular file. Note that you can choose to use filters for inclusion as well as exclusion. So you can either include all for transfer all files who follow following criteria or you can say exclude all files which follows following criteria.
Top Advance options Besides other useful options, you can launch any third party software or antivirus program on every downloaded file. BatchFTP allows to pass any number of arguments to your antivirus program or any third part software.
Top Filtered browsing You can filter the type of files you want to see when browsing at local and remote computer consistently.
Top Selective change in destination Even after folders are added to be transferred, you can change destination of an individual subfolder to transfer at a totally un related location. For example when you add a folder named "D:\Parent" to transfer to \Root by default all its child folder should go beneath \Root. But you can change location of a child folder "child1" to go to another place other than \Root\Child1
Top Last accessed 10 FTP servers at toolbar (click picture to enlarge ) Last accessed 10 FTP servers are available at toolbar buttons. So next time you want to connect to the same server just click a button.

Top Drag & Drop to transfer (Click to enlarge) To add files/folders to the batch, you simply select as many as you want and then drag them using your mouse to the local or remote computer view. For example to add them to upload simply select from local view and drag to remote view. And to download drag them from remote view to local view.
Top Drag & Drop in the batch view to change priority Drag and drop items within the batch item view to change their priority for transfer.
Top Scheduling BatchFTP is completely integrated with task scheduler that comes with all versions of Windows. Besides just scheduling you can control the task completely through built in task scheduler.
Top Favorites/Site manager You can add a batch file to favorite just like the way you would add a website to your favorite internet browser. Once added, these sites are available through favorite menu in BatchFTP.
Top BatchFTP operating preference Change operating mode from batch to auto You can tune packet size for file transfer based on the available bandwidth you got. This way you can maximize the throughput from BatchFTP.

Top Change file properties When you connect to a UNIX FTP server, you have ability to change permission on an individual file or folder. You can do that using very intuitive GUI like the one shown below.
Top Output progress report window (click picture to enlarge ) All relevant interactions with FTP server and any error, warning messages are logged in the report window. Also all the info is logged into file as well. You can open the report window.
Top Browse at remote computer even when transfer is in progress You can browse through the remote computer folder while file transfer is in progress. Unlike some FTP client which blocks you and let you do one thing at a time.
Top Easy access favorites FTP server All FTP servers which are added can be accessed with a click using favorite menu.
Top Size in both conventional and raw bytes both You can see size in conventional KB format, at the same time you have an extra column to see if the size in raw bytes.
Top Browse for folder at both local and remote computer If you hate typing like me then this feature is for you. You can always browse through the tree view to select folders consistently both in local view and remote view.
Top Completely hide to system tray. You can completely hide BatchFTP in system tray when file transfer is in progress.
